Was wondering if their would be any practical benefit to informing the medical proffession, not to the effect that they had been fooled by the people of the Watchtower because, they are a bright bunch of proffessionals but, that In this particular scripture, "Only flesh with its soul --it's blood-- You must not eat" Noah and his sons are given warning what they can and what they cannot eat. Later on, a more specific record is made which may show how they understood Genesis 9:4 to mean, were it reads, "As for any man of the sons of Israel or some alien resident who is residing as an alien in Your midst who in hunting catches a wild beast or a fowl that may be eaten, he must in that case pour its blood out and cover it with dust." Leviticus 17:13 It is apparent that the animal needed to be bled and then the blood of the animal may have been treated as a waste product, were it was poured out on the ground and covered with dust. Deuteronomy 23:13 Anyway, I would be willing to put together an e-letter to be mailed to the e-addresses that You people provide to, health officals of government, medical instutions, surgeons or other persons of interest. What do You think?

in this particular scripture, "only flesh with its soul -it's blood- you must not eat" noah and his sons are given warning what they can and what they cannot eat.
later on, a more specific record is made which may show how they understood genesis 9:4 to mean, were it reads, "as for any man of the sons of israel or some alien resident who is residing as an alien in your midst who in hunting catches a wild beast or a fowl that may be eaten, he must in that case pour its blood out and cover it with dust.

It should be apparent, that the animal needed to be bled and then the blood of the animal may have been treated as a waste product, 'cover it with dust" Deuteronomy 23:13
Anyway, I wouldn't mind crafting a simple to the point e-letter to be mailed to the e-address that You people make available. They can be e-adresses to health officals of governments, medical instutions, surgeons or others of interest"

1Corinthians 10:25-33 "Everything that is sold in a meat market keep eating, making no inquiry on account of Your conscience;...do not eat...Conscience...I am partaking with thanks...I give thanks...I am...not seeking my own advantage but that of the many."
Did Paul make it clear, that even if it was disclosed to him the food being, 'somthing offered in sacrifice,' he still had freedom. Consequently, he choose for himself to abstain for the benefit of the greater number.
Acts 15: 28,29 "For the holy spirit and we ourselves have favored adding no futher burden to You, except these necessary things, to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If You carefully keep yourselves from these things, You will prosper. Good health to You!"
It appears that the things to these people didn't make them tremble, but it reads, "they rejoiced over the encouragement." Then it may be that they were 'abstaining' within their own freedom(s).

"...And you will have joy and great gladness, and many will rejoice over his birth; for he will be great before Jehovah...and he will be filled with holy spirit right from his mothers womb: and many of the sons of Israel will he turn back to Jehovah their God. Also, he will go before him with Elijah's spirit and power, to turn back the hearts of Fathers to children..." Luke 1:14-17

Ezekiel 33:6 "A responsibilitie of the Watchmen of You people, is to warn You. At Genesis 9:4 It reads, "Only flesh with its soul -it's blood- You must not eat" Genesis 9:4
In this particular scripture, if its not clear, Noah and his Sons are given warning what they can eat and what they cannot eat. Later on, a more specific record is made which may show how they understood Genesis 9:4 to mean, were it reads, " 'As for any man of the sons of Israel or some alien resident who is residing as an alien in Your midst who in hunting catches a wild beast or a fowl that may be eaten, he must in that case pour its blood out and cover it with dust." Leviticus 17:13
It appears that the blood needed to come upon the surface of the earth and the amount, to the discretion of the hunter. And, as regards 'pouring out' the blood may sugjest an unsophisticated technique.

Genesis 9:4 “Only flesh with its soul –it’s blood- you must not eat”…”it is the blood that makes atonement…As for any soul that eats a body [already] dead or something torn by a wild beast…” Leviticus 17:11,15
The original law placed upon the humans in reference to blood appears at Genesis 9:4 and although, it does not appear on it’s face but, later it was shown that blood separated from the animal carcass was not to be eaten and if it was the person would be cut off futher, the sole and only purpose for the use of the animal blood was to be for atonement.
And, if an animal carcass was to be eaten that had not been bled the person would be considered unclean and would requirer ceremonial cleaning of the clothing and body by water…to be clean. Leviticus 17
So, with the sacrifice of Jesus their would be no need of the blood of animals for atonement nor would their be a need for ceremonial type cleaning even if a person did eat unbled meat. Although not dealing with the subject of unbled meat, Paul certainly had an awarness of the possibility of unbled meat could be sold in a meat market, stated ‘Everything that is sold in a meat market keep eating, making no inquiry on account of Your conscience” 1Corinthians 10:25
As for blood transfusions, well, it appears to be an issue made up by a finanically rich society of people because us poor do not have need of blood transfusions. So, if you have eaten some unbled meat or if you have choosen to use the blood of another in a transfusion, in the end, what ultimately does Jehovah expect from you…” Genesis 9:5

Are there benefits to DAing Yourself?
by zenpunk ini've been away from this board for a really long time, since then i've made huge progress in my recovery from life in the jw world thanks to some professional help.
now i am at the point where i just don't want to be anywhere near anyone remotely associated with the organization.
my parents no longer speak to my husband and i, but when i do have to interact with my jw inlaws i feel incredibly sick.

Out of courtesy for the ways of the institution you could write and instead, consider that the reader(s) of the letter may be having a struggle of conscience themselves. 1Peter 3:10,16,21

Thinking Abilities
by lowly one inpsalms 146:4 "his spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish.
so, does this scripture deal with the condition of the dead or what happens to it.
quickely note that there are two compnets to 'his thoughts do perish', a) his spirit goes out, b)he goes back to his ground.

Psalms 146:4 "His spirit goes out, he goes back to his ground; In that day his thoughts do perish."
So, does this scripture deal with the condition of the dead or what happens to it.
Quickely note that there are two compnets to 'his thoughts do perish', a) His spirit goes out, b)he goes back to his ground. We know that when the spirit goes out active thought stops yet, also, the body decomposes or returns to what it is made from, dust. Thus one could conclude the brains knowledge of how to think may be the part which perishes for the reason(s) that Jesus likened death at least, at this stage to a sleep or rest. In other words the things which make you, you to yourself, conscious identity, memories, mental and emotional attitudes and inclinations..., are still there in the body and to Jesus bring this back to life was as simple as awakening one from a sleep. John 11:11
It's true that when you die, you will be non-exsitant to yourself* but to those charged with responsibility in the ressurection its reasonable they will incorporate the particular dust which makes you, you to yourself into the dust which is built, formed, or made into a body. Just for you. Ecclesiastes 9:10
*The scriptures recognise a heavenly ressurection
